The Department of School Education has fixed community-wise pass marks out of 150 in the APTET-JUNE-2026 notification.

👉 AP TET has no competitive cutoff a candidate who reaches the fixed pass marks for the community is declared qualified.

⚠️ Only candidates with at least 40% disability count under PwBD. Hearing impairment requires a hearing loss of 60 dB or more in speech frequencies in both ears.

APTET-JUNE-2026 was held in two sessions a day across multiple days, so raw marks pass through a standard normalization formula before the AP TET Result 2026 is declared.

• The formula compares the average marks of the top 0.1% candidates in each shift with the top 0.1% across all shifts
• It also uses the mean and standard deviation of marks in every shift
• Normalized marks are calculated up to 5 decimal places

👉 The final AP TET score on the Marks Memo can differ slightly from the raw score a candidate counts using the final key.

Trend basis: the February 2024 result slipped 103 days under the election Model Code of Conduct, the July 2024 result came 2 days late, and the October 2025 result came 10 days early against the 19 January 2026 date in its official notification.

The Department of School Education issued Notification No. 01–AP SPL-TET-August-2026 on 24 August 2026 for in-service teachers appointed prior to 2011. Special APTET is a separate examination with a separate result.

Candidates who verify the AP TET Result 2026 should complete these steps:

1️⃣ Save the Marks memo download and store the Marks Memo/Certificate from the APTET website
2️⃣ TRT Weightage the APTET score carries 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT), and the written test carries 80%
3️⃣ Final-Semester Candidates: D.El.Ed/B.Ed final-semester candidates cannot use the certificate in TRT until they acquire the qualification
4️⃣ Not Qualified candidates can reappear, as there is no limit on attempts
5️⃣ Score Improvement: Qualified candidates can also reappear to improve the APTET score

The AP TET certificate is valid for lifetime as per NCTE guidelines dated 9 June 2021, amended by G.O.Ms.No.69 dated 25 October 2021. Certificates acquired before 9 June 2021 also carry lifetime validity.
