The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released TS Intermediate Results 2026 for juniors (1st year) and seniors (2nd year) for all the general and vocational courses on April 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

This year’s inter results were declared two weeks earlier than the previous year’s result date of 22 April 2025. The ts intermediate board completed all verification and testing in advance to avoid technical glitches.

The overall pass percentage for the inter 1st year (General and Vocational combined) stood at 66.20%, while the intermediate 2nd year recorded 70.58%. Girls outperformed boys across both years, continuing the trend seen in previous cycles.

Minimum 35% marks required in each subject, i.e., 350 out of 1,000 aggregate. Theory and practical must be passed separately.

Out of 5,07,949 second year students who appeared, a large share qualified with high grades. The breakdown below is based on data released by TGBIE on result day.

District-level performance varied widely across Telangana. Medchal led the state in first-year pass percentage, while Jayashankar Bhupapally topped the second-year rankings. Mahabubabad and Sircilla recorded the lowest pass percentages in the first and second year respectively.

Download your marks memo, and if needed, apply for recounting at ₹100 per paper or re-verification-cum-scanned copy of the answer script at ₹800 per subject. Supplementary Exam 2026 results are expected by 31 May 2026. Junior colleges reopen on 1 June 2026. The marks memo is required for college admissions, EAPCET, NEET, JEE, scholarships, and government jobs.

With results out, the focus now shifts to higher education planning and backlog management. Second-year qualified students can register for TG EAPCET (engineering/agriculture), NEET (medical), and JEE Main counselling rounds. Degree college admissions in Telangana will begin by early June 2026. Students who need to reappear should track the TGBIE supplementary exam schedule, which will be notified in the coming days.
